Porter, JetBlue Introduce Interline Gateway at Newark

Porter Airlines and interline partner JetBlue are creating more options for passengers with a new gateway through Newark.

Passengers can now connect with JetBlue destinations via Newark Liberty International Airport from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Porter's Newark schedule has up to 14 daily flights, making connections possible throughout the day.

This service introduces new travel options to Florida and Puerto Rico, including Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Fort Myers, West Palm Beach, Tampa and San Juan.

"With access to JetBlue destinations through Newark as well as Boston, our passengers have more options and flexibility to experience a variety of exciting destinations," said Michael Deluce, executive vice president and chief commercial officer of Porter Airlines.

Additional cities have also been added through the existing gateway at Boston Logan International Airport, including Atlanta, Salt Lake City and Nashville.

Porter and JetBlue began their interline relationship in October 2014. Both carriers are recognized for their focus on customer service and innovative product offerings. Thirty-eight interline destinations are now available for booking.
