The Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico, debuted the first phase of an $8 million room renovation featuring new furniture, carpets, bathrooms and design elements in 195 main tower guest rooms.

The full renovation program includes all 305 main building guest rooms and meeting space at this AAA Four Diamond award-winning beachfront escape, and will be completed this year, according to company officials.

The second phase of the hotel’s renovation will include the remaining 110 main tower guest rooms, a kosher kitchen for banquets, renovated ballrooms and upgrades to the Condado Lagoon Villas.

Last year, the property completed an improvement program that included new floor pavers near San Geronimo Fort, a resurfaced pool area and renovated public restrooms. The renovation is part of a three-year, $3 billion plan of significant property renovations currently underway across the global portfolio of Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Hilton Worldwide.
