Renaissance Curacao Resort Launches “R New Year’s Eve Fest”

The Renaissance Curacao Resort & Casino is launching its first “R New Year’s Eve Fest” as a part of the company’s larger “R Life LIVE” programming. The four-day package offers pre- and post-New Year’s Eve parties, a New Year’s Eve champagne celebration and performances by R Life LIVE artists and R&B greats Brian McKnight and Charlie Wilson. The resort will also host radio personality Doug Banks, who will air his show live from the resort during the first two days of the event.

The R Life LIVE program gives Renaissance guests opportunities to engage musical talent on-site at the hotel properties through events ranging from intimate acoustic performances, to listening parties, to pre- and post-concert events and meet and greets. Renaissance Curacao is offering two packages during the celebration.

The New Year’s Eve packages include a three-night stay from Dec. 30, 2010, to Jan. 2, 2011. Guests will enjoy access to all New Year’s Eve Fest events including two tickets to see Brian McKnight on New Year’s Eve with a special champagne celebration and two tickets to the Charlie Wilson concert on New Year’s Day.

The package also includes access to pre- and post-event parties and the official after-party at Renaissance Rif Fort. Packages including a New Year’s Eve dinner buffet at the resort are priced at $1,913 for an Island Room, and at $2,208 for an Ocean Room. Packages excluding the buffet option are priced at $1,775 for an Island Room and $2,070 for an Ocean Room.
