Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort, remains on a roll with the launch of its new summer 2016 collection of Los Cabos “Once-In-A-Lifetime” adventures. The interactive “Sense of Place” experiences encompass surfing, indigenous massage therapies, sommelier challenges and workshops with local artisans.

Since Los Cabos is lauded for is remarkable surf, it’s only natural that Las Ventanas al Paraiso would create a new excursion ideal for guests seeking a more active and adventurous way to witness Mexico’s striking beaches.

Your clients will begin the morning exploring East Cape via a 4x4 Jeep trek up the region’s pristine white sand coast that fringes dazzling Sea of Cortez waters. With the guidance of an expert instructor, surfers-in-training catch waves at Nine Palms, Shipwrecks and La Fortuna — considered among the region’s top breaks. The journey rolls out with a morning lesson followed by a picnic lunch amid palms and desert landscape.

In central-eastern Mexico, Tenango de Doria is a town renowned for its beautiful hand-woven embroidery. Inspired by the pre-Hispanic indigenous Otomi culture, this craft is practiced by some 1,000 residents dwelling in the community. Las Ventanas al Paraiso will bring this exquisite Mexican art to the resort so that guests have the opportunity to design their own Tenangos.

A skilled Tenango artisan will be on hand to reveal the art form’s cultural significance, history and technique, and then assist in selecting patterns and colors for creating napkins, tablecloths or other linens to take home as authentic treasures.
