Sandals Delays Opening of Grenada Resort
The opening of the Sandals LaSource Grenada has been postponed to Dec. 21.
The resort had been scheduled to open on Dec. 12, but “due to weather conditions and other operational challenges,” the opening was delayed by nine days, Sandals said in a statement.
Guests affected by the delayed opening may relocate to any other Sandals, Beaches or Grand Pineapple resort in St. Lucia, Antigua, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos or Barbados. Sandals will pay any associated airline change fees.
They will also get one complimentary future stay at Sandals LaSource Grenada or any other Sandals, Beaches or Grand Pineapple resort (excluding air).
Sandals acquired the shuttered LaSource resort in November 2012 and has spent $100 million renovating and expanding it.
