Sandals Launches Chairman’s Royal Club Agent Reward Program

Sandals Resorts International introduced the Chairman’s Royal Club, a new reward program that will spotlight “top travel agents who have continuously produced results and showcased loyalty to the resort brand” with “extra rewards” and opportunities, according to the company.

Member benefits include 16 percent commissions on resort sales, reimbursement for promotional expenses up to 75 percent, a $100 Island Routes Adventure Tours discount for every visit, a $250 airfare reimbursement, complimentary wireless Internet connection, and resort discounts of 25 percent on spa treatments and sundries.

“There is no partnership we consider more important, and we are delighted to recognize the special status that these exemplary travel agents will enjoy through membership in the Chairman’s Royal Club,” said Gordon “Butch” Stewart, chairman of Sandals Resorts International. Travel agents who sell more than 75 rooms per year and “provide consistent outstanding customer service to all Sandals Resorts guests” are eligible for entry into the Chairman’s Royal Club.

Agents are also required to attend annual workshops and participate in fam trips, and must score an 8 or 10 on a Sandals Mystery Guest Call. Agents who become members will receive a kit filled with a welcome letter from the chairman, a plaque, two VIP luggage tags, a membership VIP card, 250 specialized business cards, a marketing CD complete with logos, ad slicks and other useful promotional tools.
