Seventy Supplying Companies to Attend FITCuba 2016

The 36th edition of Cuba’s International Tourism Fair (FITCuba 2016) –slated for open on May 3- will showcase a sample of products from companies that provide services to the travel industry.
During a press conference prior to the grand opening, Cuban Tourism Ministry’s chief of Communications Janet Ayala explained that 70 supplying companies have signed up for the tradeshow, a fifth of them from Cuba.
Over two dozen supplying companies exhibited their goods and services at FITCuba 2015. Firms from Spain, like Mahou and Passa, and Vietnam’s Tan-Viet, were some of last year’s standouts.
According to Mrs. Ayala, the exhibit of last year’s edition was fruitful and yielded major outcomes. This time around, more vaults were added to accommodate a larger number of suppliers.
Cuba’s fledgling private sector will also flaunt its roots. Several private bistros and restaurants located in major travel destinations, such as Havana, the Zapata Marshlands and Santiago de Cuba, will dish out treats all through the fair.
Spain, Belgium, Mexico and Canada are some of the countries whose companies will have their products in display during the event to be held at the Morro-Cabaña Fairgrounds.
