To celebrate the start of its $9 million transformation, the South Beach Marriott in Florida is offering a “SOBE Soiree” package, which invites clients to experience the beachfront accommodations while sipping on complimentary cocktails.

With rates starting at $269 per night, the package includes accommodations, two signature drinks at Deco Blue and complimentary Wi-Fi. Of course clients also get to take a dip in the ocean-view infinity-edge pools and Jacuzzi, indulge in the boutique spa and plant their toes in the white sand beaches at their leisure. Nestled in the trendy South of Fifth neighborhood, South Beach Marriott’s exclusive address is an easy stroll to high-end shopping and exquisite dining options nearby.

The hotel’s redesign, which kicked off May 1, is slated for completion by the end of the year and will transform the hotel’s guest rooms, suites, elevator lobbies, hotel corridors and Concierge Lounge. During the project the hotel will operate as usual with no visual impact on guests. Work will be confined to up to two floors at a time and restricted to daytime hours. All hotel amenities will be available throughout the process including the pool, spa, fitness center, dining at Deco Blue and Starbucks.

Overseeing the $9 million renovation will be General Manager David Cronin, who joined the South Beach Marriott in November of last year. Minimizing impact to hotel guests during the renovation is Cronin’s top priority.

“It will be business as usual at the hotel during the renovation with a focus on maintaining guest satisfaction,“ Cronin said in a written release. “We plan to keep the community involved and updated on the process through traditional and social media updates and look forward to unveiling our new design at the end of the year.”

The “Sobe Soiree” offer is valid through December 29. When booking, agents should use the promotional code, "YQ1."
