St. Martin’s La Samanna Resort Completes First Renovation Phase

The La Samanna by Orient-Express resort in St. Martin has completed the first phase of an $8 million renovation, and now features new furniture, bathrooms, kitchenettes, floors, waterproofing and electrical and plumbing in 50 of the property’s 83 guestrooms, suites and cottages. Each room now features original artwork by local artists which depict scenes or locations in St. Martin and the Caribbean.

Accommodations feature one-, two- and three-bedroom suites, and three-bedroom cottages with living rooms, dining areas and private terraces and balconies. All suites feature television, DVD player, bathrobes, hairdryers, L'Occitane bath amenities, and fresh flowers. Two- and three-bedroom cottages feature petite kitchens.
