St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort Opens in Puerto Rico

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts debuted its 21st hotel with The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort in Puerto Rico. Coupled with the 2010 openings of The St. Regis Osaka and The St. Regis Lhasa Resort, the brand will have doubled its global footprint in the past two years with this unveiling of its latest resort.

The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort in Puerto Rico will be the first St. Regis resort in the Caribbean. In celebration of the 21st St. Regis hotel and the brand’s global expansion, St. Regis Global Brand leader Paul James will host a party on Nov. 10 at the flagship St. Regis New York.

The event will be complete with festive jazz performances by Kat Edmonson and a silent auction featuring a trip around the world with stays at St. Regis Hotels and Resorts. All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit UNICEF's Education for All program.

Guests attending the cocktail event will also enjoy a special menu from Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The 21st celebration will also feature the unveiling of the St. Regis Collection by Alexis Bittar inspired by Caroline Astor. Bittar’s collection is a modern twist on Astor’s revered jewelry collection and includes a brooch, earrings and necklace.
