Starwood to Launch Rebranded Sheraton Santo Domingo Hotel in December

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, in partnership with Hoteles Nacionales, will launch the Sheraton Santo Domingo Hotel in December in the Dominican Republic’s capital city.

Formerly known as the Melia Santo Domingo, the 245-room waterfront property will be re-branded following a $6 million renovation. The hotel is located on Avenida George Washington, within walking distance of the city’s historic colonial district. The hotel will offer a casino, outdoor swimming pool, and a Link@Sheraton business center. Amenities will include complimentary breakfast, beverages and evening hors d’oeuvres in the Sheraton Club Lounge.
