Tobago Resort Extends Commission Offer

Magdalena Grand Beach Resort in Tobago extended its 13% travel agent commission offer for all bookings made by Aug. 31 for travel through Dec. 18. In addition to hotel stays, the 13% commission is paid on meal plans when booked by agents in advance of clients' arrival.

"The increased commission offer was set to run through May. We wanted to extend the offer to thank agents for their continued support of the resort," said Howard Spittle, general manager.

The resort also offers a 30% discount through June for travel through Dec. 18. Discounted room rates start at $100 per person, per night, double, for deluxe oceanfront accommodations. Suite rates start at $189; a two-bedroom suite starts at $289. Breakfast is included on all rates. Tax and service charges of 21.5% are extra on all room categories.
