Wyndham Hotel Group to Debut Wyndham Milagro del Mar Resort in Nicaragua

Wyndham Hotel Group will open the Wyndham Milagro del Mar Resort, a 212-room property on Nicaragua’s Pacific Coast in 2014. The hotel is currently under construction on Playa San Diego, located one hour west of Nicaragua’s capital city of Managua and the country’s international airport. HB International will own and develop the hotel, which will become Wyndham Hotel Group’s first property in Nicaragua.

The hotel will be the centerpiece of Villa El Carmen, a 2,500-acre community, and feature beach access, a 27-hole golf course, a beach-side pool, a surf shop and spa services, plus surfing, tennis and horseback riding opportunities. The new property will also feature an on-site concierge, wireless internet access and satellite television.

The Wyndham Milagro del Mar will be located a one-hour drive from the historic colonial cities of Granada and Leon, and also offer proximity to the Masaya Volcano National Park and Lake Nicaragua, Central America’s largest lake.
