Air Canada passengers can reach Asia that much easier now that the airline has begun a code-sharing agreement with EVA Air, Taiwan’s first privately owned international airline.

JetBlue today announced it is expanding its existing partnership with Azul Brazilian Airlines through a unilateral codeshare agreement, subject to government approval.

The flights will be operated on a McDonnell Douglas aircraft four times each week on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Beginning Nov. 2, Norwegian will continue its service with two weekly flights from Gatwick to San Juan on the brand’s 787-9 Dreamliner.

The new airline is owned by a French conglomerate called Groupe Dubreuil, which is heavily involved in travel and hospitality businesses, but also owns assets in other industries.

Last month, the carrier officially began operating an additional six weekly flights to the destination of Bermuda.
