Cruise West, the leading small-ship cruise line, is offering guests the chance to stave off winter chills with distinctive itineraries to Mexico’s Sea of Cortes.
The Massachusetts Port Authority’s said the new 10-year agreement between Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) and the Government of Bermuda will continue to fuel the growth of Boston as a cruise ship destination.
Costa will be giving away diamond necklaces from Diamonds International on every sailing departing from Fort Lauderdale during its 2007-2008 Caribbean season. Costa will base the 86,000-ton Costa Mediterranea in South America for the 2008-09 winter cruise season. The ship will feature 44 new spa accommodations. The Costa Magica and Costa Marina will also sail throughout Brazil and Argentina.
Norwegian Cruise Line said it will make its first call to Grand Bahama Island in at least five years when the Norwegian Jewel docks there on November 15 during a three-day Bahamas Getaway voyage from Miami. The line also said it plans to add 32 more cruises to the Bahamas by 2009.
