The World Travel Awards ceremony for North America and the Caribbean region will take place this year in Turks and Caicos Islands, one of 14 Caribbean territories competing as “Leading Destination” in the 22nd edition. One of the main nominees is the Bahamas.

The event that brings the world to Latin America and promotes Latin America to the world last year generated business deals in excess of $341 million and coincides with the 43rd Braztoa Business Meeting giving Colombia the ideal platform to meet the industry and do business.

Being nominated in 9 separate categories is an incredible honor, and recognition for The Islands of the Bahamas, and everything they have to offer visitors and hard work they have done to welcome and attract new visitors.

At the magnificent Palacio de la Merced in Cordoba, Mr. RAFAEL NAVAS, lieutenant major of Cordoba’s City Hall, and Mr. SALVADOR FUENTES, vice-president of the Council, opened the 10th Edition of the Newspaper Publishing Companies Congress 2015, technical organization by Nexo Group and slogan “Editors in Constant Innovation”, in recognition of the work done by newspapers and their editors when it comes to spreading knowledge, supporting different sectors and transforming the society by means of pieces of information.

Promote Latin America to the world and bring the world to Latin America. This is the key concept of WTM Latin America, which is approaching its third edition and will take place from April 22-24 at the Expo Center Norte in Sao Paulo.

The most important tourism fair in Russia and one of the five major travel events in the world, held in Moscow, boasts 57,737 square meters of exhibition space for over 2,000 exhibitors, 198 destinations and more than 37,400 visitors, three quarters of them industry professionals.
