Even with summer in full swing, it's never too early to look ahead to the start of autumn. Fall on the One happy island of Aruba marks the start of "Arubapalooza," the seasonal extravaganza encompassing countless cultural, culinary, music and fashion-oriented events and festivals.

Building on the success of last year's event the program is attracting some very senior speakers to take part in the panel sessions with confirmations received, so far, from the likes of Ricky Skerritt, Minister of Tourism and International Transport for St Kitts and Nevis, Peter Cerda, RVP The Americas for IATA and Alfredo Gonzalez, Senior Vice President, Global Market Development, for event sponsors, Brand USA.

Barbados will soon play host to the 22nd Inter-American Congress of Ministers and High-Level Authorities of Tourism. The meeting, which will be held Sep. 3 and 4 in Bridgetown, will take place under the theme of “Tourism Competitiveness: An Essential Component of Sustainability.”
