Honduras will be hosting the 21st Inter-American Congress of Ministers and High Authorities of Tourism next month. Honduras and the Organization of American States signed an agreement last week officially designating San Pedro Sula as the site of the conference, which will be held on Sept. 5 and 6.

Guayaquil and Ecuador are going to be the venue of the Largest Tourism Show in the American Pacific Ocean. The sectors and activities linked to the Ecuadorian tourism industry are coordinating the last actions to present, within the framework of the 11th Edition of Ecuador International Tourism Fair “Fite 2013”, the country tourism offer for internal and external markets.

ABASTUR®, the largest event linked to the hotel, catering and restaurant industry, is gathering over 800 exhibiting companies on a total surface of 34,000 square meters, where they can showcase their services and products.

The St. Eustatius Tourism Development Foundation (STDF) is preparing to host another major sustainable conference from September 25 – 27, 2013, during which delegates will discuss critical issues relating to the island’s sustainability.

The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Investment Conference (CHICOS 2013) will be held at Punta Cana’s Hard Rock Hotel November 7 and 8 hosted by the Global Hospitality Service (HVS), the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) and the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA).
