Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, along with tourism authorities have inaugurated the island's second luxury five-star hotel as the Caribbean nation is looking to attract more high-standard visitors to its resorts.

Palladium's TRS Hotel brand is welcoming a new property into its fold with the TRS Cap Cana Hotel, an adults-only resort to open in the Dominican Republic Nov. 1.

Six new hotels are scheduled to open in Quintana Roo in 2019 bringing more than 1,000 guestrooms to the region.

Beach Enclave, a luxury villa rental company in Turks and Caicos, has launched its second phase, Beach Enclave Long Bay, that will unveil new five villas, three to open in November and two to open next year.

The new hotel also offers the Star Prestige service, an adults-only area with a wide range of premium amenities, including the best rooms, access to exclusive area, and special services.

The projects have all either been completed or are due to finish in time for the peak winter season. A new family pool area is currently being constructed on the private Minitas beach.
