Puerto Rico's landmark El San Juan Hotel, a property in Hilton's Curio Collection, will reopen Dec. 14 after being closed more than a year due to damage sustained during Hurricane Maria.

Just months after breaking ground on Club Med Miches Playa Esmeralda in the Dominican Republic, Club Med has revealed an initial look at its first Exclusive Collection resort in the Americas.

The Caribbean is set to welcome its first Waldorf Astoria hotel in 2020. The luxury flagship brand under the Hilton Worldwide umbrella is currently under construction in Antigua.

The Ixora Spa is currently located in the Passage House villa and will offer multiple treatment rooms, a private pool and a new beachfront cabana where guests can enjoy treatments.

With eight brands in total, it’s no surprise that there’s a lot happening at Meliá Hotels International, most notably a brand-new luxury resort coming in spring 2019.

The Grenada government Tuesday confirmed that the 212-room Grenadian by Rex Resort has been placed under new management and that its name had been changed to Starfish Resort.
