Sandals Ochi Beach Resort, Sandals Resorts' largest and Jamaica's newest resort and the next big thing in the all-inclusive experience, marked its official grand opening with a star-studded celebration Monday night, June 1, 2015.

Haiti’s Club Indigo resort has closed in order to begin a large renovation project ahead of its debut as an all-inclusive property.

The project cost about $275,000 in investment. The new units raise the number at the property to 48 rooms.

Canadian travel giant Sunwing is adding a resort on the island of Antigua. The company’s Royalton brand is developing the Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa, which is slated to open in 2017.

There’s another new mega-project coming to the Caribbean, this time to the Eastern Caribbean island of Grenada. The $2 billion USD project is called the Grenada Resort Complex Project, which officially launched in China.

Nickelodeon is getting into the Caribbean tourism game, and now Viacom’s popular children’s brand has broken ground on its first resort project. The $92 million Nickelodeon Punta Cana broke ground this week, with completion slated for the summer of 2016.
