Hilton Worldwide has announced the signing of two iconic Jamaican properties to Curio – A Collection by Hilton, a global brand of luxury hotels for travelers who seek local discovery and authentic experiences.

The Cancun Convention and Visitors Bureau recently announced a year on year increase in global visitor numbers of 7.5 percent for 2014. There were more than 4 million tourist arrivals at Cancun International Airport last year and nearly 4.5 million are expected in 2015.

Palace Resorts' all-inclusive Moon Palace Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios is not opening on April 11, as the resort pushed back its debut for the fourth time. The opening of the 700-room Moon Palace was pushed to March 1 and later to April 11.
