The Sanctuary Cap Cana by Alsol all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic is transitioning into an adults-only property. The change will officially begin on Dec. 15, 2015, the property announced. Last year, the resort underwent a renovation across the property.

When completed, Baha Mar will total more than 2,900 rooms in five resorts. The $3.5 billion gaming and luxury resort complex has been under construction in Nassau’s Cable Beach area since groundbreaking on Feb. 21, 2011.

Marriott International has revealed plans to open 2,700 Moxy hotel rooms in key cities throughout Europe by end 2016.  With a goal of 150 Moxy hotels and 25,000 rooms by 2020, the company expects to sign at least 4,200 rooms in 2015 alone. 

InterContinental Hotels Group is signing of a new-build Holiday Inn Express hotel in Belem, Brazil. Slated to open mid-2016, the 128-room property will be IHG’s third property in the city, joining the Crowne Plaza Belem hotel and Holiday Inn Express Belem Ananindeua hotel.
