JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts have unveiled Spa by JW. Created to demystify and re-imagine the spa experience, this new concept offers guests an intuitive experience that is luxurious yet purposeful with treatments and products designed to address four core benefit states.

The second phase of the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel renovation will be completed on Dec. 1, unveiling 319 guestrooms and suites, Puerto Rico's first Hammam spa, two pool lounges with butler service and a second restaurant from chef Juan Jose Cuevas. Built in 1919 by Frederick William Vanderbilt, the historic San Juan hotel is in the final stage of completing a $200 million redo. The first phase opened in October 2012 and included event spaces and 1919, the lobby bar and signature restaurant also helmed by Cuevas. Hyatt Hotels and Playa Hotels & Resorts are planning to introduce the Hyatt Ziva brand to Cancun. Formerly Dreams Cancun, the resort’s multi-million dollar renovation began June 1, and it is expected to reopen in late 2015 as Hyatt Ziva Cancun.
