Marriott International’s presence in Mexico is about to get a whole lot bigger with the announcement that the company is partnering with FibraHotel, a hotel owner, to open 20 hotels throughout the country by 2016.

The Baha Mar project, with an investment of $3.5 billion (U.S.), will lead The Bahamas' hotel and leisure offering to a new dimension. The Chairmen of Baha Mar Ltd. and Melia Hotels International signed an agreement for Melia to operate the all-inclusive Melia at Baha Mar. 

TripAdvisor announced the winners of its 2013 Travelers' Choice Awards for All-Inclusive Resorts. The awards recognize a total of 100 properties, including the top 25 in the world, and dedicated lists for seven regions around the globe including Africa, Asia, Europe, Caribbean, Mexico, Spain and Turkey.

The St. Kitts Tourism Authority has announced that the final designs for the Park Hyatt St. Kitts, scheduled to be completed by the end of 2015, have now been reviewed and approved by Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s senior executive management team and project designers.
