Iberostar is just a few months away from opening the doors to its first resort on Mexico's Pacific Coast. The Iberostar Playa Mita will debut in Riviera Nayarit as of December 1. The resort will have 452 rooms and will be part of Iberostar's Premium Gold collection.

Hotels in the Caribbean that have enabled the Expedia Traveler Preference (ETP) program have experienced an increase in their standalone (room only) year-over-year net room night production of 29 percentage points on average, according to analysis by the Expedia group.
