Spanish hotel group Ola Hotels has increased its online revenue with the help of an automated rate & inventory management solution from eRevMax. The group has significantly improved their online sales and RevPAR with RateTiger by introducing more room types and dynamic pricing across third party sales channels. Ola Hotels is using RateTiger Channel Manager to sell rooms from an allocated inventory pool from each of the properties across multiple channels simultaneously.

Aimbridge Hospitality has been tapped as the new manager of the Sugar Bay Resort in St Thomas, the company announced Tuesday. The 294-room all-inclusive property will also be undergoing a “multi-million capital investment,” the company said, which is slated to begin later this year.

Canada's Sunwing Travel plans to build a $250 million hotel in the southeastern Mexican state of Quintana Roo, the Tourism Secretariat said. The hotel and tour company plans to build the 1,250-room Royalton Riviera Cancun next year in Puerto Morelos, a city on Mexico's Caribbean coast.
