Couples Resorts has just launched a naming contest for its Caribbean restaurant at the brand new Couples Barbados Resort, the latest edition to the Couples Resorts family. The winner of the month-long contest will receive a seven-night stay at Couples Barbados.

Blue Diamond Hotels & Resorts will open Royalton Punta Cana and Memories Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic in November 2013.  Todd Kirlik, the company’s director of sales and marketing made the announcement at the Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange on April 24.

Following a succession of recent brand introductions in the Iberian Peninsula, Hilton Worldwide has announced that its DoubleTree by Hilton brand is set to arrive in Portugal. The management agreement will see Lisbon’s Fontana Park Hotel convert to DoubleTree by Hilton Lisbon – Fontana Park in summer 2013.
