The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., reopens the doors to the historic Hotel Maria Cristina, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Sebastian, following an extensive $25 million restoration.

Fond Doux Holiday Plantation is making an effort to attract a more diverse group of travelers and the resort is urging tourism marketers to do the same. As part of this effort, the resort supported the Associate Member Task Force of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) during the organization's 37th Annual Convention and Career Fair in New Orleans.

Nassau Paradise Island, Bahamas is offering an Instant Savings program offering discounts off stays of four to six nights. Travelers who book an air-inclusive stay at participating properties will receive $350 discount off stays of six nights or longer, or $200 off on stays of four or five nights.
