Sonesta announced its aggressive expansion in Latin America, with seven new hotel projects in Colombia, Chile and Peru to open over the next year. This expansion is the result of master franchise agreements in place with GHL Grupo Hoteles S.C.A., which currently operates Sonesta’s properties throughout Peru.
The new Villa Cortez at One&Only Palmilla launched in January 2009 following a $30 million expansion/renovation to the property, which also included Market, a new culinary concept by Jean-Georges. The Summertime Break package provides a 30 percent savings on any three night stay booked prior to June 15.
