Egged on by the success of its grand opening last month, ROOMS resort -Jamaican hotelier SuperClubs´ first foray into Continental Plan (CP) lodging- is offering guests everything they need to enjoy a Jamaican holiday, including premium dining, an extensive menu of tours and activities, and 97 comfortable rooms and suites that give travelers an ideal “home base” for exploring Jamaica´s delights.
Centrally located on a crescent-shaped beach, right in the heart of Ocho Rios, ROOMS is just at a stone´s throw of Jamaica´s renowned beaches, as well as top island markets, attractions, restaurants and shopping areas.
The Hilton Trinidad Hotel, in Trinidad & Tobago, is expected to start renovations this month. Renovations are scheduled to be completed in three phases, and the third and final phase is anticipated to be wrapped up before March 2007.
All areas of the hotel will be refurbished, including guestrooms, meeting facilities, restaurants, entertainment areas and recreational facilities. The number of rooms will increase from 380 to 419, including 20 suites, four relaxation rooms (two warm and two cold), and accessible rooms for the physically handicapped.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc announces the grand opening of the newly-built Four Points by Sheraton Montevideo in Uruguay´s capital city . Marking the brand´s entry into Uruguay, the Four Points by Sheraton Montevideo is owned by Romalur S.A. and is managed by Starwood under its Four Points by Sheraton brand.
The Four Points by Sheraton is located in downtown Montevideo, in an area known as the "historic city." This area of the burg is a bustling commercial district that features many cultural and historic tourist attractions.
After the merger between two European airlines, KLM and Air France, NH Hotels has signed a new agreement whereby the company has joined the new "Flying Blue" loyalty program. This program has ten million members and aims to become the leading frequent flyer program in Europe.
NH Hotels will participate in "Flying Blue" with more than 200 hotels and, as a "partner", it will benefit from new and better advantages, such as access to new communication channels, an increase in market share and the strengthening of the presence of NH Hotels as an international hotel chain.
Four Seasons Resort Nevis (St. Kitts & Nevis) will launch a $10 million, three-month renovation program in late August that will add a third pool and a 120-seat beachfront restaurant called Mango.
Its two luxury suites and half of its 196 guest rooms will be refurbished as well. General manager Martin Sinclair said the enhancements "will occur with minimal impact to the existing facilities and our guests."
