UK scientists from the Universities of Southampton and Dundee are currently investigating the extent of the problem following a grant from the UK Government's Darwin Initiative, which aims to protect biodiversity and promote sustainability around the world.

The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) unveiled its new One Love Rewards program for agents, which serves as a training platform for the destination as well as offering rewards such as merchandise and accommodations. Graduates of the program can shop for a range of items using points earned based on hotel rooms booked.

With its famous highways and various tucked away neighborhoods, Los Angeles is the definition of a commuter city. Unfortunately, all too often driving in L.A. isn’t a lot of fun. The summer season often sees L.A. highways jammed with tourists and vacationers, while winter rain can quickly turn a 15-minute commute into a 45-minute slog.

Tourism and International Transport Minister Hon. Richard Skerritt told industry stakeholders at a National Consultation that it was time for St. Kitts to revise its Tourism Strategy. The Minister pointed out a number of achievements St. Kitts and Nevis has made in Tourism but said more could be attained.
