Hainan Province has embarked on an ambitious plan to attract more international tourists by upgrading the island’s entire transportation network. Plans to modernize the transportation infrastructure were outlined Sunday by officials attending the 2010 Bo’ao International Tourism Forum.
Dubai-based Emirates airline received the first corporate prize from UNIGLOBE Skylink Travel in Tanzania in recognition of the airline’s distinguished passenger and cargo services in Tanzania.
The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and the U.S. Travel Association (USTA) said they have signed a memorandum of understanding formally agreeing to share resources and to work closely together to promote the industry’s interests.
