The Jamaica Tourist Board secured the “World’s Fastest Man,” Usain Bolt, to give a tour of Jamaica for the next installment of the destination’s “Once You Go, You Know” TV advertising campaign. Three new commercials were created, featuring Bolt sprinting through Jamaica accompanied by the famous Bob Marley anthem, “One Love,” and stopping to admire some of Jamaica’s famous landmarks, as well as the people of Jamaica emulating their sports hero.

An initiative to market football in Ghana as a tourism product is being promoted under a public-private sector partnership. Dubbed “Ghana ‘4’ Gold South Africa 2010”, the project is building on the soccer laurels of the Ghanaian national teams to sell the country’s investment and tourism potentials to the international community.

Tourism New Zealand launched a new-look corporate website featuring news, research, market information and in-depth campaign information. TNZ Chief Executive Kevin Bowler said the new website provides comprehensive information about Tourism New Zealand’s work and gives valuable insights into how offshore markets are performing.
Three new attractions will open in Stockholm during 2010 -- a photographic museum, a lookout point and a newly renovated medieval museum. Fotografiska Museet, a new permanent site for world-class photography and city views, opens in May.
