




The UNWTO & WTM Ministers’ Summit is one of the highest-profile sessions of the entire event. Now in its tenth year, more than 100 tourism ministers and their aides from around the world were joined by board-level representatives from some of the biggest travel companies.

New channels to market and new marketing channels dominated day two of the Travel Tech Show at WTM. A compelling presentation from a Facebook executive told the packed room that it has a handle on consumer behaviour and can spot user trends. Neasa Costin, travel vertical lead, EMEA, global marketing solutions, said that the challenge for many travel companies is differentiation.
