Orlando is strengthening its position as a leading global tourist destination with exciting new attractions, direct flights, hotels, MICHELIN-rated dining, and local experiences. During the IPW trade show in Chicago, Visit Orlando unveiled its latest updates, including the launch of a brand-new theme park, expanded air connectivity, and a booming culinary scene.

With 75.3 million visitors in 2024, including 6.5 million international tourists, Orlando remains the most visited city in the United States. This growth is driven by new flight routes such as Madrid–Orlando with Iberia or Iberojet, as well as connections from Paris and Mexico City, making the city more accessible from Europe and Latin America.
The most anticipated debut is Universal Epic Universe, the first entirely new theme park in 25 years, featuring over 50 attractions across five immersive lands: Celestial Park, Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.
Orlando's hotel scene is expanding with new properties such as Universal Helios Grand Hotel, Villatel Orlando Resort, Stella Nova, Terra Luna Resorts, and a renovation of the Swan Hotel at Disney.
In the culinary world, Sorekara has become the city’s first two-MICHELIN-starred restaurant, joining a thriving food scene that now includes 59 restaurants recognized by the prestigious MICHELIN Guide.
Beyond theme parks and shopping, Orlando is diversifying its offerings with FIFA Club World Cup matches and the launch of 14 virtual neighborhood tours, spotlighting local areas such as Audubon Park—celebrated for its art, culture, and independent businesses.
