AMResorts Expands Sunscape Resorts & Spas Brand in Montego Bay

In line with the goal to expand Sunscape Resorts & Spas in existing destinations, AMResorts is announcing that effective immediately, Sunscape Montego Bay Jamaica will become two properties: Sunscape Cove Resort & Spa, formerly The Oasis at Sunset and Sunscape Splash Resort & Spa, formerly Sunset Beach Resort, Spa & Waterpark.

Set to open December 23, 2015, Sunscape Cove and Sunscape Splash are strategically located 15 minutes from the Sangster International airport and the famous Montego Bay “Hip Strip.”  The resorts are located alongside the sister properties of Secrets St. James Montego Bay and Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay, as well as Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa, which is scheduled to open late 2016.

Sunscape Cove will feature 122 all Sun Club rooms and Sunscape Splash will include 308 guest rooms along with an expansive on-site waterpark and four swimming pools.  Six dining options including three á la carte restaurants, a buffet, grill and café, as well as five bars and lounges throughout the resort are available for guests of both resorts.  

Additionally, guests staying at Sunscape Cove will receive the preferential status and amenities of the Sun Club including personalized check-in and checkout with concierge service, exclusive access to two restaurants and two bars, a private Sun Club Lounge with complimentary Wi-Fi, upgraded mini-bar refreshed daily, complimentary room service from 7 am – 11 pm, and special amenities for children.

Guests and would-be guests will receive an amendment to the existing contract for Sunscape Splash Resort & Spa and a new contract will be issued for Sunscape Cove Resort & Spa.  Existing reservations will not be affected by this update.  

Guests of Sunscape Cove and Sunscape Splash will also enjoy all the inclusions of our signature Unlimited-Fun concept, where everything is included: 24-hour access to food and beverage options, including an in-room mini-bar and reservation-free dining, family-friendly accommodations and check-in experience, Explorer’s Club for Kids, endless land and water activities, and nightly entertainment with no wristbands required.
 
Sunscape Cove and Sunscape Splash will bring the total resorts within the Sunscape brand portfolio to six.  Additionally, the total number of resorts within the AMResorts collection in the destination of Jamaica will increase to five.
