AMResorts to Roll Out Zoetry Montego Bay Jamaica in 2016

The current Coyaba Beach Resort & Club will close on April 15, 2016 to undergo extensive renovations, after which it will be re-named the Zoetry Montego Bay Jamaica.

The revamped resort will continue under current owner Marina Resorts LLC but will be renovated to reflect Zoetry brand standards and re-open in December 2016, said AMResorts officials.

Guest accommodations and public facilities will receive enhancements and signature Zoetry amenities and services including no check-in or check-out times, maid service three times per day, 24-hour concierge service and private in-suite dining. The renovation will also add a new spa and fitness center, meeting rooms, new pools and a wedding gazebo to the existing property.

The renovated all-inclusive property will feature 46 guest rooms, three a la carte restaurants offering an assortment of organic food and beverage selections and two bars serving unlimited branded spirits. The property is located within a 10-minute drive of Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport.

“The high demand for Caribbean vacations is here to stay, which consistently makes it an ideal choice for hotel owners,” said Alex Zozaya, Apple Leisure Group’s CEO (pictured above).

“The ease of arrival from several major North American hubs combined with its natural beauty makes [Jamaica] a natural fit for the luxury traveler looking to experience Zoëtry’s boutique resort offerings,” said Javier Coll, executive vice president and chief strategy officer of Apple Leisure Group, AMResorts’ parent company.

AMResorts currently operates the adults-only Secrets St. James Montego Bay and Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay in Jamaica. The Sunscape Splash Resort & Spa and Sunscape Cove Resort & Spa will join those properties in Montego Bay on Dec. 23, 2015. Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa, another AMResorts property, will debut in late 2016.
