Aruba Marriott Finishes $50 Million Refurbishment

The 411-room Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino completed its $50 million renovation project this week. The two-stage renovation program began in July 2007; the resort did not close while the work was in progress.

The improvements included guestroom makeovers; the addition of a Ruth’s Chris Steak House and a redesign of La Vista restaurant; an overhaul of the lobby and reception areas; and the launch of the 59-room Tradewinds Club on the eighth floor.

The Marriott, located on Palm Beach, offers seven restaurants and cafes, the largest casino on the island, a 6,500-square-foot spa, a health club and a freeform pool with waterfalls.
