Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino will begin a $40 million enhancement program, scheduled for completion by December 2007.

The $40 million renovation will include a total makeover to each of the resort’s 413 guest rooms, a revitalization and expansion to La Vista, one of the main dining facilities, an overhaul of the lobby and reception area and upgrades and enhancements to the pool area.

The South Tower will be the first of three phases to undergo room renovations in order to compartmentalize the work and minimize interference with the resort.

Upon completion of the South Tower, renovations will move to the North Tower and then to the Atrium rooms, with total completion by the end of 2007.

New furnishings with a sleek, modern design will replace the current look along with Marriott International’s latest features in design and state of the art technology, including LCD televisions and the ability to connect laptops, iPods and other electronic devices to charge and play direct through the television sets.

On property, seven restaurants and cafes provide fare from light to elegant, while the largest casino in Aruba, a 6,500 square-foot spa, free-form swimming pool with cascading waterfalls and high-energy health club offer entertaining diversions.
