Karisma Hotels, which operates several properties in Mexico, said it plans to open a new, 96-room boutique hotel in Tulum, Mexico.

Slated to debut on November 1, the Azul Blue Hotel & Spa, which will also have three restaurants and three bars, intends to create a new level of luxury, according to the hotel´s representative.

The property will encompass six villas each with 16 suites accented with hand-carved mahogany doors. Each suite will include plasma TVs and in-room Jacuzzis, as well as the service of personal butler.

Azul Blue will have a “no-cash” policy throughout the hotel and spa –which will feature 10 treatment rooms and a two-story fitness facility with ocean views- similar to an all-inclusive resort.

Room rates are expected to start around $700 per couple upon opening and run to around $1,300 during the high season.
