Bahamas to Welcome New Star Island Resort

Star Island, a private-island destination currently under development in the Out Islands of the Bahamas, will open in late 2009 with a mix of high-luxury and high- sustainability.

The site of this project is a 35-acre island in a protected sound 10 minutes by boat from Harbor Island.

Star Island will offer five- star luxury through a mix of private homes, resort residences and bungalows, complete with a spa, restaurants, bars, pools, tennis courts and a “no-fuel” marina.
