Bahia Principe Luxury Resort in the Dominican Republic to Open Nov. 1

Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts will open its 12th property in the Dominican Republic, the Luxury Bahia Principe Samana Don Pablo Collection, on Nov. 1 along the country’s northeast coast.

The 149-room, adults-only, beachfront resort is the smallest property in the hotel company’s inventory in the D.R. and will feature one pool, four bars, three restaurants, butler service and 24-hour room service.

Resort guests will get a free boat transfer to nearby Cayo Levantado, also known as Bacardi Island, and can choose from activities such as whale-watching, kite-surfing and diving.

Early booking discounts from 10 percent to 30 percent are available at any Bahia resort in the D.R. when booked by Oct. 31 for travel from Jan. 2, 2016 to Jan. 1, 2017.
