Barbados´s Mango Bay Hotel Reopens
Barbados´ Mango Bay Hotel has officially re-opened following a six-month $10 million refurbishment and expansion project resulting in 12 additional suites as well as extensive enhancements throughout the 12-year old resort.
Among the new accommodations are two 1,200-square-foot Penthouse Suites priced at $1,500 to $1,800 per night all-inclusive in season and designed to meet the needs of clientele with five-star tastes.
The expansion includes the addition of a new fourth floor enabling the hotel to add 12 rooms in two new categories –Deluxe Rooms and Penthouse Suites.
The two Ocean Front Penthouse Suites are 1,200 square feet in size. Each unit is glass enclosed on two sides affording a majestic view of the Caribbean Sea and the West Coast. These extraordinary suites feature two 42-inch Plasma televisions, one in the living room and one in the bedroom.
The spacious bedroom opens out directly into the living room and patio for a luxury sweeping flow-through design. The bathroom features a deep soaking tub and a separate stall shower complete with a waterfall shower head.
