Barceló Hotels & Resorts Acquires Karmina Palace Hotel in Mexico´s Manzanillo
Palma de Majorca-based Barceló Hotels & Resorts today announced a new gem in its collection of fine Mexican hotels and resorts. The Company acquired the world class Karmina Palace Hotel along the Pacific Coast in Manzanillo, Mexico.
The hotel will now be known as the Barceló Karmina Palace Hotel, and the 324 all-suite, all-inclusive resort will have a five star property rating as part of the company´s Barceló Premium Collection. Barceló Hotels & Resorts reports paying $48.2 million for the property.
The addition of the Barceló Karmina Palace Hotel brings to 10 the number of hotels and resorts that the company now operates throughout Mexico.
Since opening in 1999, the Barceló Karmina Palace Hotel has earned a reputation as one of the finest resorts along Mexico´s pacific beaches. With a AAA Four Diamond rating, the all-inclusive resort features spacious guest suites plus two deluxe presidential suites, an onsite 18-hole golf course with a club house and a selection of eight meeting rooms that can accommodate groups of up to 1,200 people.
