Beaches Turks & Caicos Changes Reopening Date

Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort & Spa shifted its reopening date to Nov. 15 from Sept. 26, due to damage from recent storms, according to Sandals Resorts Chairman Butch Stewart.

Landscape and cosmetic damage as well as extensive debris on the resort’s grounds “requires a thorough cleanup which will take time. With safety as our first concern, we decided to do the work while the resort is closed,” Stewart said.

Guests scheduled to visit Beaches Turk & Caicos while it is closed can relocate to one of the three Beaches Resorts in Jamaica or receive a travel credit. The credit entitles guests to return to the resort from Nov. 15 to Dec. 20 or anytime next year from Jan. 1 to Dec. 20, 2009.
