Breezes Drops Puerto Plata Resort from Portfolio

The Breezes Puerto Plata Resort will close for the summer on May 1 and will no longer operate under the Breezes flag.

The resort will be renamed Sol de Plata Beach Resort & Spa. SuperClubs, owner of the Breezes brand, is in negotiations regarding the extension of its resort management contract.

Customers will be accommodated at another Puerto Plata property. They can rebook at another Breezes resort in the Caribbean or cancel, but SuperClubs won’t cover the cost of changing or canceling air bookings.
