B.V.I. Scrub Island Development Still on Track

Scrub Island, the first resort development in the British Virgin Islands in more than 15 years, topped off its first buildings. Structures topped off include several two to five bedroom villas as well as two buildings in the marina village –home to many of the island’s amenities and the Marina Village rooms and suites.

Returning to its local roots, Mainsail Development Group also officially announced “Scrub Island” as the new name for the property.

Originally slated as Mainsail Resort, Marina & Spa, the team has opted to embrace the natural history of the island and its importance to the community while emphasizing the fact that the project is more than simply a resort, marina and spa, but a private island.
