Campanile Hotels showcase European expansion at World Travel Market 2005
Campanile, the French owned chain of 384 quality, budget hotels and restaurants, is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary by attending this year´s World Travel Market in London, where the company plans to announce a series of new openings that marks the expansion of the brand outside France.
For the first time ever Campanile will be exhibiting in the Global Village at World Travel Market, reflecting the groups strategy to expand more vigorously outside of the French market. Campanile will be celebrating new hotel openings in Poland, Italy, Spain and the UK.
Around 330 Campanile properties are in France, conveniently located at most main towns and near highways. Outside France Campanile hotels can be found in the U.K., Poland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal and Luxembourg. The total number of rooms is 24,000.
WTM will also be the official launching pad for Campanile´s 2006 industry rates, which are presented in a new style directory. Douglas Whittaker said: “The new format is clearer and allows the trade to view hotels by region and we believe the industry will also find the rates very appealing!”
The company will host a daily buffet breakfast on the stand, which will offer a taster of the famous buffet dining experience available at Campanile hotels.
