Choice Hotels Opens 43 Hotels in September

Choice Hotels International, Inc. continues to grow with the announcement of 43 newly opened franchised properties during the month of September. The openings include hotels in 20 states and eight countries, adding more than 3,400 rooms to the company’s existing 475,000-plus rooms.

As the 6,000th hotel for Choice Hotels International, the Inn of Chicago, an Ascend Collection hotel, is located on the city’s Magnificent Mile right in the heart of downtown Chicago, just steps from dozens of the best restaurants, shops and attractions of the area.

The hotel offers a restaurant, fitness center, business center, meeting facilities and free weekday newspapers. Guestrooms feature pillow top mattresses and wireless high-speed Internet access while select rooms also offer wet bars.

The newly-constructed Comfort Suites in Orlando, which also supports “green” lodging practices, is conveniently located close to all of Orlando’s most popular attractions. The all-suites hotel features an outdoor pool and whirlpool/hot tub, sun deck, exercise room, business center, meeting facilities, sundry shop, free airport transportation, free weekday newspapers, and free hot breakfast.

Guest suites offer flat screen/Plasma TVs, in-room safes, free wireless high-speed Internet access, microwaves, refrigerators, and separate living/working and sleeping areas. Select suites also offer in-room hot tubs.
